In response to: A movement that inspired music; a look at music influenced by the civil rights crisis in Northern Ireland (1968-1998)

The insight made is interesting to me because it talks of music being a tool for change and awareness. The bands U2 and The Undertones are both highly successful bands that have had great success, I believe, due to the concern they both had for the political unrest and violence in Ireland. I agree that the music was a release from the troubles or a plight for change in the ways of the country. I think that music has increasingly become a tool for fuelling a population into movement and in any case is used as a means of healing.
